Description

Tintype of a woman standing beside a man seated in a chair. She is wearing a blouse with puffed sleeves, cuffs and very wide gathered skirt with a ruffle on the bottom. Her hand is on the man's right shoulder. He is wearing a suit with a striped vest, bow tie and scuffed shoes. Studio portrait. Looks like the woman's dress and blouse are from the 1860s. These photos are from Album #19 from the Newberry home. A sticky note on the back provides a number and sometimes names. This is 11B
