Black & white postcard photo of a turn of the century car parked in front of an 1890s two-story house with a picket fence in front. The house has a porch and bowed window on the first floor and three single windows on the second floor. The car has two men sitting the front holding a baby and a woman seated in the rear seat. The picture has a saw-toothed edge effect surrounded by a white border. The upper left corner is torn off. Hand written across the back of the postcard are "Mother had house built about 1891, still standing" and "Carl bought car 1905".
Based on the stamp configuration AZO (4 triangles pointed up) the date is between 1904-1918.
The photo was originally stored in the Gillespie, Carl folder in the Archives Storeroom. It appears that this photo came from a photo album - it was numbered 206H on the back.
