Hugh Crockett Vernacular Farmhouse. Wood frame set on stones and beam over stone foundation. more information in PNRO Inventory pg 323. House located at 711 South Fort Casey Road, Coupeville
This 1868 house is part of the original 160 acre Hugh Crockett Donation Claim, filed by Crockett on
April 1,1870. He sold the property to Captain B.F. Lovejoy in 1873. Lovejoy name the fame "Roselawn" for the numerous rose bushes he had planted. He also planted a large orchard. The property was eventually sold to the Kaehler Family who held the property for two generations (80 years). Property was purchased by Freeman Boyer in 1944.
