The Colonel Walter Crockett House was built c. 1860 on Donation Claim of 322 acres filed by Crockett on March 6,1866. He came to the land west of Crockett Lake in December of 1851. Walter Crockett Jr. eventually inherited his father's property on the condition that he stay and care for his parents in their old age. Walter Jr. was a County Commissioner, member of the Territorial Legislature and member of the State Legislature. The house later came into the ownership of Fred Armstrong Family who held the property until Mrs. Armstron's death c. 1970. House is located at 1019 S Fort Casey Road, Coupeville
