Photo of a couple standing in front of the sign for the Blockhouse Inn; the man is on the left of the sign, woman holding a dog on the right. She is wearing a top, sandles, and plaid skirt. He is wearing casual clothes. The Blockhouse Inn is behind them. In August 1969 it was badly burned and a few months later it was torn down. It stood on Alexander Street where the current Island County Historical Museum is now located. From the 68-223C entry:
