Black & white photo of the front of the Thomas Griffith's house in Coupeville - built in 1869. The house is located at 101 Northeast 9th Street. The photo shows two single windows with shutters, one window on each side of the front door. Photo taken 1971. For additional information see PNRO Bluebook page 178. This property is significant under National Register criterion C, because it embodies the distinctive characteristics of architectural expressions and methods of construction that represent the period of early Euroamerican settlement in the Reserve beginning in the 1850's through 1870. It retains integritty of location, setting, materials, design, workmanship, feeling and association. The photo was originally stored in the House, Griffith, Tommy house folder in the Archives Storeroom.
