Description

John Maki's house built in about 1910. He was a filer in the mills, but had an accident in the sauna and fell on the stones with his stomach and hands. Could not work after that. House was owned by Vern Olsen. This house was moved from the Maki's property to the Salo property in 1972. This is the east view. Wooden house (like a large log cabin) with blue trim. Three windows visible, two below and one above. Partial view of greenhouse that is attached to the back of the house, and the porch at the front of the house. In the foreground of the photo there is a car parked on either side. Trees surround. Identical to 223b.
