Abstract of Title for land "beginning at a point South 157.82 feet and East 33.00 feet of the Northwest corner of the Thos. Coupe Donation Claim, running thence North 129.43 feet to Front Street, thence North 77'57'55" West, along front street, 29.65 feet to point of beginning; in Section 33, Township 32 N. R. 1 E. W. M., and within the boundaries of the Town of Coupeville, said county and state." This Abstract of Title contains sale records, warranty deeds, maps, mortgages, a final will and testament for Daniel Pearson, Articles of Incorporation of Bank of Commerce, Articles of Incorporation of Seattle Association of Credit Men., and records from a case in the Superior Court of the State of Washington (Bank of Commerce, a corporation [Plaintiff] vs. A. S. Coates and Mary J. Coates, Ira L. Todd and Bertha B. Todd, Seattle Merchants Association, a corporation, and A. J. Morrill [defendants]), and a case between John Paul Lumber Company (claimant) vs. R. M. Hastie and the Bank of Commerce, and further documentation for these specific sections of land. The first patent record for this portion of land is attributed to C. H. Evans, filed 02 August 1853. Grantees and individuals listed include Thomas Coupe and Maria Coupe, William B.
