Description

Photo of the front of the Glenwood Hotel (now lawyer's office). It is along Main Street and faces Front Street and Penn Cove. It is a 3-story building with bay windows on the top two levels in front. Wires and lightbulbs on another wire connect the building across the Front Street. A VW Bug is parked on Main Street. Written on the back: Front St. and Main, Glenwood Hotel, 1890, photo 1971 PNRO: page 164. Built in 1889 as a hotel with a flat roof. In 1899 the mansard roof was added.
