Photos of Tartans and Tweeds shop on Front Street with the store sign over the door. Tall windows are on either side of the door. A propane tank is under the Knead & Feed sign on the left side of the building. Two benches and three flower barrels are on the wood sidewalk. On the left is a raised flower planter and a bench on the deck that leads down to the beach. On the back: Tartans and Tweeds/Knead 'n Feed. On the building to the right is a brick chimney wiaht a ladder leaning against it. It was the Old Town Shop at this point.
Per PNRO page 162: built for John Robertson 1871, sold in 1890 to J. Sedge - home furnishings shop. Chinese laundry on lower floor for a while. Blowers and Kinneth store, Driftwood Styling Salon, Tartans and Tweeds, Knead and Feed, The Red Hen.
Per the Arcadia Coupeville book, page 120: In 1909 F. P. Race built the first telephone office between his drug store and the Sedge building (ICHS). Per PNRO, page 162 - the exchange from 1900 to the 1930s.
