Postcard depicting Coupeville's "Big Rock" and house next to it. Postcard is addressed to Mr. George Quinan, [1?]203 West Comstock St, Seattle, Wash. Postmarked 30 July 1916 or 1918.
Reverse of postcard reads, "This is [Fran/Jan?] Calhoon's little house and her big rock --no one can explain the rock -- but there it is. I tried awfully hard to get you on the phone up to the time the boat left. Sunday Mary took me to see Isadora and the old house and neighborhood. G."
Note: It is possible that the author of this postcard is George E. Quinan, who was the chief engineer of the Puget Sound Power & Light Company, Seattle. He served as a vice-president of the AIEE in 1929-30.Collection
