Painted pine bureau with mirror and six drawers. Case sides and back are of frame and panel construction. On casters. Serpentine apron to bottom and sides. The chest of drawers has four hand-dovetailed drawers, the top of which has a serpentine front, as does the chest top. On the top are two smaller drawers to which are attached the brackets for the swing mirror. The mirror frame and brackets are flat, with shaped edges. The surface of the pine is painted to imitate tiger maple. The drawer fronts are painted with pastoral scenes, lines and rococo revival decorative motifs. The front stiles and other flat areas are lines. Part of bedroom suite with bedstead and table. Cottage furniture with rococo revival influence.
