From AT 1248: (per info on AT 1249A) Jacob Jenne House/Victorian Bed and Breakfast. c. 1889 Italianate Residence. Wood frame set on stone foundation. located at 602 North Main Street, Coupeville. This house was built in 1889 for Jacob Jenne, owner of the Central Hotel. It was modern for its time, with its own water tank providing running water, built-in closets, and a hot water heating system. Following Jacob's death, his window Berthe Jenne married Dr. White, and his office building was moved to the property. Berthe Jenne White lived in the house until the late 1940's Since that time, there have been a nuber of owners and the structure has primarily been a residence. For a few years in the 1970's the Bennett's operated it as a Bed and Breakfast. Again in the 90's until present it has been operated as the Victorian Bed and Breakfast. Located at 602 North Main Street.
