Photo of a building that had been at 24 NW Front Street. A person is walking (blurred) past two men in front of the meat market. The building has several peaked roofs, a round window at the top center, a bay window on the left, double doors with transom in the center and another door on the right. Wood sidewalk and dirt road. On the back: Coupeville, WA. Fall 1906 or Spring 1907. Fred Mayer in apron; Howard Libbey - other man. In front of their meat mkt. (market). Building now across Coveland from Autobarn and Post Office.
The building was moved before 1916 and has been a private residence, rental house or vacant. It is now a lawyer's office at 180 Coveland Street, across from the auto repair shop. It has been extensively altered.
