In the middle is the Central Hotel (now gone). On the right of the pier, four buildings including Kingfisher, Gillespie Livery and a house now on Coveland Street across from the Post Office. On the far right is the Starwana Hotel (then Blockhouse Inn, which burned; now the site of the ICHS museum) and the pier leading to the wharf.
