Description

Photo of two-story house with one-story back section. A large tree obscures most of the house. Faces Penn Cove. Tractor and at least 6 young men working. This looks like the Haller House, 1 NE Front Street and Main Street. Sticky note: Haller house? looking north with Penn Cove and Monroe Landing. Road in background. PNRO page 165: built by Granville Haller in 1866; addition from another house added. Daniel Pearson bought it in 1879 and set up a store. Road cut through it.
