Black and white/sepia photograph of a Coupeville Water Festival (1930s probably). Appears to be part of the parade. A group of primarily Native American men stand up on the back of a crude sort of "float" (wooden slats driven on tires) and other Native Americans mill around alongside it. Near wharf, outside the Starwana Tavern (where Museum is now). On back is written "Indian Water Festival", "Finish", "Sparkle" and "Barbara Ward".Collection
