Looking up the bluff at the Whid- Isle Inn, now known as the Captain Whidbey Inn. The caption on the bottom states, " Whid Isle Inn nestled among old growth firs on shore of Whidby Island. Pub by Ellis 9184." A trail leads diagonally up the bluff. Some of the hotel is obscured by trees. It is likely summer as many of the windows are open.
