Description

A photograph showing the south side of the Whid Isle Inn, now known as the Captain Whidbey Inn. The caption on the front states, "Whid Isle Inn- 15 Rooms - Large Dining Room - Whidby Island WN. Pub by Ellis 9185." Two trees frame the view. A sign hanging from the awning of the first bay of the porch reads "Dining Room." Writing on the back of the postcard reads "I think I'll keep him. CCL" and is addressed to "Mrs. C.A. Craft Box 163 Mukilteo Wash" The postcard has a 3 cent stamp and a post mark from Oak Harbor on June 29 1954 at 5:30 am.
