Description

This photo shows the swimming lagoon at Still's Park on the right and Penn Cove on the left. The location is near the Whid-Isle Inn, now known as the Captain Whidbey Inn. The bridge at the opening of hte lagoon is seen on the right with its organic driftwood railings. Woods take up the background. The back states "___ Glen' opened in 1906 when Elizabeth Swift came to visit from Vermont in 1906. 'Marsy Glen' campsite at Still Park opened first by Races when Elizabeth Swift visited in 1906. Judge Still's rustic bridge and tide gate in foreground at Swimming hole after a storm- County Rd. #1"
