Description

A northwest view of the Whid Isle Inn or the Captain Whidbey Inn. A group of women, mostly in white with long skirts and hats stand on the second floor balcony. This must be soon after the inn was built as there are no stairs leading from the first floor porch to the lawn. The back of the postcard states, "Whid Isle Inn- Sunday School class picnic. Teacher: Edith Engle- Edith Terry (Tufts) second row right. Probably about 1907 or 8."
