Photo of the interior of a church; facing the altar. An organ or small piano on the right, chairs set up facing away, flowers all over the chancel, altar and greenery above the altar/chancel. On the back: graduation 1895? (crossed out Academy); Congregational Church. Sticky note: Congregational Church interior c. 1895. This is now the Catholic Church. It is at 207 N. Main St. From old entry: Graduation 1895? at Congregational Church Unit 6, Drawer A (Congregational Church) 1895 PNRO book page: 87: Congregational Church built in 1889. Bought by Catholic Church in 1934, now St. Mary's, first permanent Catholic Church on Whidbey Island. Restored to original appearance 1974-1976. Steeple and bell tower reconstructed and building painted to match the original. From folder: Coupeville, Congregational/Catholic Church, 207 N. Main St.
