1826 Flintlock Rifle. Engraved in metal is "PHIL A 1826" and "U.S. M.T. WICKHAM".
Has been in the LeSourd family since early 1830s - traveled with family across the west to Whidbey Island. Rifle served in the Civil War, Francis LeSourd hunted deer on Ebey Prarie with this rifle. [Edit as of 04/28/2016: a gun powder horn has also been donated that it is stated goes with this rifle - it has been accessioned seperately as 2016.070.001.]
