Description

Dolman sleeve black lace cape worn by Edith Dillon Kellogg (Mama Edie), first wife of Albert H Kellogg. Fringed collar and opening at the front and bordered. Fringe of lace. Bordered also with two strips of braid going all the way around. Plain with black lining inside. Seams inside are slightly frayed. Pinched and fitted at the back with more cord braid embellishments in the shape of three leaves and bobbles attached act as berries (four of them). Three loops and toggles along the opening at the front. Wooden toggles. Silk-satin like material with design of flowers and leaves.
