Postcard depicting Patrik Lynch dressed in a customized military-style coat, which is embroidered with various decorations and lettering, and embroidered shoes, holding a longsword. The writing on the postcard front states, "Patrik Lynch Drilled 3 Years in Morris Illinois The Oldest Soldier in Puget Sound Uncle Sam's Boy Since I Was 21 and At The Age of 75 Ready To Fight The Japs."
The front of the postcard also lists political figures: "Georg [sic] Washington President Lincoln President Taft President McKinley Major Headen"
