Description

Downtown street scene in Oak Harbor. A number of early cars are parked on either side of the street. One car is driving toward the viewer. It looks like in the distance people are running a foot race with the finish line marked by a ribbon strung between two telephone poles. The Maylors Department Store can be seen to the right. The picture is set back from the current intersection of Dock Street with Pioneer Way, then Bank Street and Barringotn Ave. The back of the photo is a postcard addressed to Mrs. Theron Mc Elroy 705 1/2 Pike St. Seattle, Wa.
