"The Famous Deception Pass on the Route from Seattle to Bellingham. Puget Sound, Wash." You can see the ferry in the middleground with a large plume of steam rising from her stack. Tree branches frame the image on the left whereas the right background are the rocks of the pass. The back reads, "9/25/09 Hello Gertie- Anchored here last night- blowing blazes outside the Pass. Will be with you before this card reaches you. D.B.", "No game but a good time.", "Miss Gertrude Coleman 7432 Latona Ave Seattle USA Green Lake'." There is a once cent stamp adheared to the postcard.
