Description

Photograph of a large builiding with a sign: Hotel Lenz. The building is two storys, has one chimney, two doors - one on each floor, 8 windows, a balcony and porch. A fence with open gate is in front. A path leads to the front door. Started and run by Louisa Lenz in 1906/7. It was in the field directly across from (south of) the the Catholic Church (across 3rd St). The hole for the well is still in the field- though filled in, there is still a depression. The hotel burnt down in 1932. The rescued the organ out of the burning hotel and it's still in possession of the family.
