Photograph of a woman standing beside a team of a least 4 large draft horses. She is wearing a long dress and has her right hand supporting a child sitting on the lead left-side horse. They are on a dirt path or lane. The team is pulling a wagon with probably a large log on it. Water is behind them. Trees are all around.
Emma's first husband was Emil Bruno Fossek he was a blacksmith at Maxwelton. They were only married a few years and then divorced. At this point Emma was supporting her and Ray by moving from logging camp to logging camp as a cook. This photo is likely 1916/1917.
On the back: Lone Lake logging camp where Emma worked as camp cook
Ray on horse.
The original photo is silver gelatin.
