Mammoth femur discovered in a bluff on West Beach, Whidbey Island in June 2017.
Femur was given to donor (Brian Giles) by Bob & Shirley Erb, who gave him permission to remove it from their bluff. It was about 10 feet above the aquitard; about 40 above sea level (image of bone insitu attached).
