The black and white photo shows the first schoolhouse in Saratoga, which was built in 1906. The teacher at the time was Mr. Leighton. The photo was taken in 1914. The wood on the building is coming apart and there are several trees around the crumbling building. On back: this photo taken in 1914 was provided courtesy of Gertrude S. Hughes of Auburn.
