Picture Postcard, photo called "Near Langley". Postcard was never used.On the left side of the photo are trees and road zizagging down towards a pier. Along the coastline are buildings. One building has its name painted on the outside: "Whidby Island Canning Co". Land can be seen in the distance across the water. There are 5 boats visible, 3 small and 2 larger, all in close proximity towards the left of the picture. The photo is taken from a vantage point looking out and down upon the pier from its side. The pier stretches out from shallow coastline (sandy). Two lanes make up the pier joining together at the end and on which is situated another building. The pier and buildings are all made of wood. The pier is standing on stilts. Day time and clear skies.
