Island County Government Records These photographs depict the construction of the current courthouse in Coupeville. Photo depicts ground level of courthouse being built. In the foreground a 1940's pickup truck sits behind a pile of lumber. To the right are three construction workers, one working on the masonry. Several houses and the water can be seen in the background On the back: "3rd payment". Stamped: Filed Apr 1 1948 Esther M. Monson County Auditor "Taken 3-26-48 B. Forman" 67-056-A through J are from the Island County Auditor of construction of the courthouse.
