Short, square safe from the Glenwood Hotel basement with artwork painted on the outside and in. Inside the safe was 2 birdshot and a pair of small keys with a label attached indicating they go to a filing cabinet.Context
From donor: "Rolling safe from Halls Safe Company. On the outside front of the safe reads, "C. Fisher," (Christian Fisher) builder of the Glenwood Hotel in downtown Coupeville. I remember seeing this safe in an antique store when I was a kid. I used to go to see it because it is my great-grandfather's safe. I bought the safe at an estate sale and wanted to bring it home."Acquisition
