Photograph of the bow of the "Calista" (with the rest of the ship submerged) just before sinking fully under the water. The Calista sank on 27 July 1922 after it was struck by the Japanese freighter ship "Hawaii Maru" (the large black ship to the left of the Calista) off West Point near Seattle.
