Description

Diamond shaped red, green, and white sticker for the Sociedad Colombo Alemana de Transportes Aéreos, or the Colombian-German Air Transport Society. Green text around the border reads 'WE FLY IN COLUMBIA / SOUTH AMERICA'S OLDEST AIR SERVICE.' In the center of the sticker is the organization's logo. In 1930, Pan Am gained controlling interest of SCADTA thanks in part to the U.S. government's fears of a German controlled airline operating so close to U.S. territory during the build up to World War II.
