Postcard belonging to 'The Houses of Key West' series depicting a Conch House with a large flowering vine growing over the fenced entryway. Notation on verso reads '12. A SPLASH OF BOUGAINVILLEA transforms this modest 1880's eyebrow house into something quite special. Originally it was probably home to a sponge-fisher or shrimper. The tin roof is for collecting rain-water in the cistern in the rear.'Subject Place
