Scope and Content

Blueprint for the Lincolnville Bicentennial Bandstand, designed by Lincolnville architect John "Jack" Silverio, dated June 8, 2000 Bandstand was originally commissioned by the Lincolnville Band Fund-raising begun by the Band and completed by the Bicentennial Committee The Bandstand was built in the winter of 2001-2002, completed just in time for the June celebration The new Bandstand was used during the Bicentennial Celebration for the entertainment acts The weather vane installed on top is a treble clef and notes which was custom-made and donated by Fred and Donald Heald, longtime band members and descendents of the band's founders
