"In consideration of twenty dollars paid by John Young the second of Lincolnville county of Waldo and State of Maine a foresaid gentleman the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give,grant,sell and convey unto the said John Young and his heirs and assigns forever a certain pew numbered twenty-six south side lower floor of the Meetinghouse in said Lincolnville with all the privileges appertaining to said house with other pew holders agreeable to common usages in houses of publick worship with the preva?? of employing such preacher as he may wish his equal proportion of the time not however to urge any preacher when there hath been a previous appointment made - as also the one eighty-fourth part of the lot of land on which said house now stands which contains one half acre bounded as follows (to wit) Beggining at a stake and stones on the westerley side of the road leading by saw-house on Benj Lamb's house, hence south eighty four degrees west nine rods to a stake & stones thence south twenty six degrees east ten rods to a stake and stones thence north seventy nine degrees east eight rods to said road thence on said road to the first bounds as by deed from Nathan Knnight Jr to said Lamb will appear."
