copy of a deed, Vol. 446 page 30, Waldo County Registry of Deeds The parcel of land, bounded on the south by Route 52 leading to Belfast and westerly by the road leading from the Center to Searsmont--173, i.e. the northeast corner of the 173-52 intersection near the Lincolnville Telephone Company "the building formerly known as the Thomas Store and situated on these premises..." This may be the building later used as a community hall and where the church and Sunday School met in the wintertime. The land passed from James and Albert Knight to Buzzell and Thornton of Belfast to James Dondis in 1930 to (in this deed) United Christian Church in 1942.
