Description

white cotton nightgown, long sleeves, opens full length, buttoned partly down front with tiny pearl buttons, high lace-trimmed neck, eyelet lace borders both fronts. Sleeves gathered at top, lace insets in yoke and along eyelet. According to a card pinned to nightgown and written by Winifred M. Young, it is about 100 years old and was the wedding nightgown of her Great-aunt Beulah (French?) Beulah French was 10 years old in 1870, and living in the household of Robert and Eliza Perry, along with several of her French siblings
