Friendship quilt made of wool squares which appear to be from men's suits; 36" x 44" excluding olive green wool crocheted edging
Squares are each 5" x 6" and most are embroidered in large back stitches with names and dates of the nursing class at Peter Bent Brigham, Class of 1946
Quilt squares are put together neatly, tied in the corners with greenish wool and pinkish floss, and the edging done carefully, but the names are embroidered quite haphazardly, as if done in a hurry.
Back is also made up of 6" squares.
