Scope and Content

Mainly it is the collection of Ella Mathews' short stories, typewritten and in a leather folio, found in a used book store in Washington D.C. by ?? Osgood who summers at Ducktrap. She saw the name "Lincolnville" in the stories and bought it, later donating it to the LHS. It is compiled in a large 3-ring binder along with a Mathews Family genealogy, a Camden Herald article about the fire that burned down Ella's childhood home when she was a toddler (and killed her baby sister), and a 1925 letter from Carl to his Aunt Hazel Pottle.
