CON012Description
This wooden Main Street bridge opened in Los Gatos in 1882. Unfortunately, it was the site of a lynching on Sunday afternoon, June 17, 1883, when Incarnacion Garcia, a young Californio, was hung from the bridge by a vigilance committee, seeking "even and exact justice, without cost to the county."
