A group of high-wheel cyclists, riding at night. Most of the bicycles have hub-mounted lamps, which were used on high-wheel bikes to better light the road surface.
Reverse side advertises Columbia Bicycle Riding School and Sales Room, 214 and 216 East 34th Street, New York City. A February 1882 extract from the Century Magazine, and a letter from Dr. Geo. E. Blackham, extol the virtues of cycling.Dimensions
