The item is an affidavit notarized by Karl A. Feint in Stark County, Ohio. The affidavit is a statement from Michael J. Vaughan confirming that Herbert F. Doney was a member of Company C, 14th infantry and was sationed in the P.I. in LaGuan, Samar, and was confined to the hospital with dysentery and malaria fever.
