This is a 3 part brass metal souvenir medal. The top hanger is 1 3/4 in. wide x 1 1/4 in. long. An eagle with spread wings sits atop crossed cannon tubes and cannon balls. There are 'letters that read " G A R." Below are 3 lines of text that read " 41st Annual Enc'mpt. Department Ohio. .G.A.R." Suspended by one chain link is an arched banner, 1/2 in. wide x 1 5/8 in. long that has the word "Souvenir" written across it. Below is the 3rd part, a copy of President Wm. McKinley's tomb in Canton, Ohio, measuring 1 5/8 wide x 2 1/8 in. long. Above the archway of the tomb is 3 lines of text with the inscription "In Memoriam. William McKinley. President of the United States."
On the back of the hanger portion of the medal is a metal pin for attachment. The 2nd part of the medal has a manufacturer's label, "Schwaab S & S Co. Milwaukee." On the back of the tomb are 3 lines of text that read, "Canton, O. June 11-14. >1907<

"A nice heavy badge worn by veterans at the 1907 Department of Ohio Grand Army of the Republic state reunion in Canton, Ohio. This is a three part badge. The top hanger has an eagle with cannon tubes and cannon balls with GAR and 41st Annual Enc'mp.t. - Department Ohio - G.A.R.. The second piece says Souvenir. The drop is a likeness of President McKinley's tomb in Canton. On the back of the drop is "Canton, O. - June 11-14, 1907". The badge is approximately 4 inches long."
