John H. Holl, Esq.,
My Dear Mr. Holl:-
Mr. Lincoln wil1 be in Canton
to take permanent charge, on Thursday of this week. I
wish you to please go over all your accounts, and if there
is anything that you have not certified, or anything which
requires straightening out, please let me have a full and
complete statement, thereof. I wish information particu-
larly and as soon as possible, as to the amount of loam
that has been delivered and paid for as fill; the number
of the Special Order covering 20,000 cubic yards of fill
more or less, is 81. The Special Order for supplying
loam is No. 82. In order to straighten out the accounts
I must have a clear statement as to how many cubic yards
of loam have been certified as fill.
Very truly yours,
