Scope and Content

This item is a horizontal colored postcard with an image of the McKinley Memorial. It shows a front view of the memorial including the reflecting pool and trees. The dat 7-31-08 is written in pencil on the front. There is also an ink stain from the postmark bleeding from the back side onto the front. Split Back: Printed in Germany, green one cent stamp of Benjamin Franklin, Postmark Canton, Ohio Jul 31 4-PM 1908, Addressed to Miss Elsa Schmidt 1346 E. 81st St. Cleveland. O. Written in pencil, Care Standard Knitting Co Superior Viaduct.
