Description

David Armstrong Brison. David A. Brison was the son of John Brison, who established a store to supply farmers and settlers in the Millburn area around 1800. In 1837, the Morris & Essex Railroad purchased property rights to build on his land, from which the family received a lucrative contract. David Brison served in the 135th Pennsylvania Infantry during the Civil War.
